- Half cup onion, chopped
- Two cloves garlic, chopped
- 3/4 cup cream-style corn
- 10 basil leaves, chopped
- 1/3 cup pasta
- 1 teaspoon olive oil or mustard oil
- 2 tablespoon tomato purée
- Salt and pepper to taste
The garnish
- 2 tablespoon grated cheese
- basil leaves
Preparation method
- Combine the onion, garlic, and olive oil in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for two minutes.
- Add the cream style corn, basil, tomato Peery, pasta and 3 cups of water and microwave on high for 10 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
- Add the salt and pepper and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with the cheese and basil leaves.
