CRISPY CORN

These Barbeque nation style Crispy Corn is a perfect snack to serve your guests when you have a time crunch. Super easy and quick to make, you are definitely going to love this one. Here is how to make a crispy fried corn recipe.



Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of corn
  • ½ cup of cornflour
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp schezwan sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • ½ tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp finely chopped garlic
  • 2 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup of chopped spring onion greens
  • ½ cup of chopped onions
  • Salt and pepper as per taste
  • Oil (for frying)

Method:

  • Boil some water in a pot and add a little bit of salt to it. To this, add the corn and allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Combine cornflour, all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt and pepper. Now coat all the corn kernels in this mixture. Set it aside.
  • Heat some oil in a pan for frying, deep-fry the coated corn kernels in batches. Soak the excess oil.
  • In a separate pan, heat butter and add sesame seeds, ginger, garlic, and onions. Once the onions start turning translucent, add spring onion greens, chili sauce, soy sauce, schezwan sauce. Adjust the seasoning.
  • Sprinkle some spring onion greens on top and serve it piping hot.
