KHASTA NANKHATAI

Nankhatai is one of the traditional food. A cookie enriched with delicious flavors and aroma of Ilaichi. A light snack that could be enjoyed at any time of the day. So without any delay, let's get started #startcooking.


INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 Cup Maida
  • 1/2 cup Besan
  • 1/2 tbsp suji 
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of Ilaichi Powder
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • Almonds for garnishing
METHOD:

In a bowl mix maida, besan, suji, powdered sugar, salt, and  Ilaichi powder.
Put slightly warm ghee into the mixture and make it into a dough form.
Cut the dough into 18 equal parts.
Form into a cookie shape and place almonds on the top.
Bake it in the microwave at 160C for 18 mins.
