PANEER BHURJI ON TOAST

Rich in protein – cottage cheese strengthens bones and teeth, maintains blood sugar level, is good for heart health, and improves digestion even it helps in weight loss oh yes I am talking about Paneer. Having a breakfast full of health and taste like Paneer burjee on toast. A vegetarian burjee on Toast makes a healthy and hearty breakfast. Always a welcome change from routine omelet or scrambled eggs on toast.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Paneer, crumbled
  2. Half cup onions, chopped
  3. Half cup tomatoes, chopped
  4. 1 teaspoon ginger, chopped
  5. One green chili, chopped
  6. A pinch of turmeric powder
  7. Half teaspoon chili powder
  8. Half cup capsicum chopped
  9. 2 tablespoon oil
  10. Salt to taste

For the toast
4 bread slices

For the garnish:
2 tablespoon chopped coriander


Method:

For Paneer burjee

  1. Take the oil in a microwave-safe bowl And add the onions and microwave on high for three minutes, stirring once after one 1/ half minutes.
  2. Add the tomatoes, ginger, green chilies, turmeric powder and chili powder and microwave on high for three minutes.
  3. Add the capsicum and the salt and microwave on high for another two minutes.
  4. Add the Paneer and mix well.
  5. Divide the mixture into four equal parts.

For the toast:
  1. Using the great plus open options, preheat the oven for 250° celsius for an approx nine minutes.
  2. Please see Bridge slices on the metal rack and using the oven and grill option toast for five minutes, till they are crispy and lightly browned.
  3. Top the Paneer burjee on the toast, garnish with coriander and serve immediately.
